Chicago to Host Democratic Convention in August 2024
Both Democrats and Republicans are turning their attention to the Midwest to gear up for their respective parties' national political conventions in 2024. The Democratic National Convention will be held in Chicago, Illinois, from August 19-24, 2024, at the United Center. The Republican National Convention will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from July 15-18, 2024, at the Fiserv Forum.
The Democratic National Convention is a presidential nominating convention in which delegates of the United States Democratic Party will select the party's nominee for president of the United States in the 2024 presidential election. The Republican National Convention is a quadrennial presidential nominating convention in which delegates of the United States Republican Party will select the party's nominee for president of the United States in the 2024 presidential election.
